This is an excellent opportunity to join a family owned business, Stopmaster Brakes, as a full-time Mechanical Trades Assistant for an immediate start in their busy workshop in Gateshead.
The ideal candidate will be anyone interested in a Mechanical Trades Assistant position with the possibility of an apprenticeship in the future. Applicants will need to meet the following requirements:
Must be available full time hours Monday to Friday (8am – 4pm)
Opportunity for overtime
Good communication skills
Able to work autonomously and unsupervised
Loyal and strong work ethic
Attention to detail
High quality workmanship
Knowledge of brake and clutch systems would be an advantage or a willingness to learn
