Haven is seeking a new team member to join our team.

The position being offered is a permanent part time role with suitable candidates available to work up to 4-5 days per week. However, a rostering is flexible to suit individual needs, with rosters posted 2-4 weeks in advance. alongside this Haven will support shifts of 7.5hour, 8 hour or 8.5 hours (paid), dependent on individual preferences.

The Role:

Haven is seeking educators with a 2 minimum year experience in the early childhood education and care sector to join our :

Kindergarten rooms as an assistant educator (both 3YO and 4YO Kinder)

We ask candidates are available between 6.30-6.30pm.

At Haven all rooms are rostered above ratio, with rooms covering their own breaks and ratio always being maintained. All rooms are staffed with permanent educators and consistent shift times.

The successful applicant will bring their own individuality to our team, showcasing their strengths and interacting with all families, children and team members in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements (or willing to obtain)

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

2+ year experience in early childhood education

Current Working with Children Check (employee)

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificates

Mandatory Child Protection

Food Handler's Certificate
