The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician (A Grade) to join our Melbourne-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation work for industrial clients, with a particular focus on hazardous area compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Glanding and terminating in hazardous areas

Electrical installations and commissioning

Completing Hazardous Area ITRs and compliance documentation

Working to Australian Standards and OH&S guidelines

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in hazardous area electrical work

Experience in panel wiring, cable tray installation, motor controls, instrument termination, and electrical drawings

Exposure to PLC systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)

Industry experience across refrigeration, utilities, manufacturing, or food processing is highly regarded

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence

Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical (UEE42622 or equivalent)

Previous experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments

A strong commitment to safety and compliance

A self-motivated, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to answer the following questions upon application:

What is the purpose of a Hazardous Area Dossier?

Can Ex "ic" equipment be installed in Zone 0?

What is the function of a resin- or putty-filled Ex d cable gland in Zone 1?

Do you have a current Victorian electrical licence (A-Grade)
