Are you a passionate Food Technology teacher ready for your next opportunity? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join a respected independent co-educational Christian school in Sydney's Western suburbs.

This is a full-time temporary position, perfect for a teacher who is eager to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment. This role begins in term 3 and runs through to the middle of term 1 2026. Both experienced teachers and recent graduates are warmly encouraged to apply.

Demonstrated Experience and Skills

• qualifications and suitable experience to teach Food technology to years 7-12
• demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners
• desire to work as part of the wider school team
• flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
• evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
• effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
• excellent communication skills
• ability to achieve strong academic results
• a strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of students

Prerequisites:

• Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
• Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
• Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
• 2 school-based references
