We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) teacher to join a vibrant independent co-educational Christian school in the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney. The ability to teach Design and Technology or Multimedia to Stage 6 is essential.

Join this well-respected school in a full-time, ongoing position. Part-time applicants are also encouraged to apply. Whilst the ideal start date is term 3, a term 4 or 2026 start date can also be negotiated.

Demonstrated Experience and Skills

• qualifications and suitable experience to teach Design and Technology or Multimedia
• demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners
• desire to work as part of the TAS department and wider school team
• flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
• evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
• effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
• excellent communication skills
• ability to achieve strong academic results
• a strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of students

Prerequisites:

• Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
• Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
• Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references and one church based reference
