About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our Parks Operations Crew. You'll work outdoors across the local council area, maintaining parks and gardens alongside an experienced, supportive team.

Location: Alexandra Canal Depot (start/finish point daily)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 3pm

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Hand weeding and litter picking

Hedging, mowing, and brushcutting/whipper snippering

Weed spraying and mulching

Daily playground safety inspections

Planting and laying turf

Pruning shrubs and general garden maintenance

What You'll Need

Essential Requirements:

Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent hands-on experience)

Good physical fitness for active outdoor work

Comfortable using mobile devices (iPads) for daily work logging and photo documentation

Reliable and motivated work ethic

Pre-employment Requirements:

Police check

Two employment references
