About the role

Ampol Charters Towers: 2IC Assistant Manager is a crucial full-time position within the Retail & Consumer Products industry at TROPIC PETROLEUM'. Based in Charters Towers QLD 4820, this role will provide strategic support to the Store Manager, contributing to the overall success of the store.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service

Ensuring efficient and effective store operations by monitoring and improving processes and procedures

Providing leadership and direction to the store team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Driving sales and profitability by implementing marketing initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth

Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance within the store

Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and suppliers

Extensive experience in a retail or customer service environment, with a proven track record of success in a management or supervisory role

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
