We have a newly created role for a Fundraising Officer to support the growth of our community engagement, fundraising events, and partnerships. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you’ll directly contribute to meaningful change in our local community.
Reporting to the Partnerships Specialist, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of our Community Fundraising and Peer-to-Peer Campaigns. You’ll also assist with our Corporate Partnerships Program, ensuring successful delivery of events and fundraising activities that support HCM’s programs and services.
About the role:
- Contribute to the coordination and execution of community fundraising initiatives and events
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, donors and volunteers
- Support Peer-to-Peer campaigns like Sleep Rough, including logistics and donor care
- Assist with corporate partnerships, research and stewardship
- Maintain donation platforms and track campaign performance
- Support internal administration, reporting and team collaboration
- Represent HCM at community events and speaking engagements as needed
About you:
- Experience in fundraising, events or administration, desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and excellent time management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM/database experience desirable
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team
- A professional, respectful and values-aligned approach
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends/evenings
- Full driver's licence
