We have a newly created role for a Fundraising Officer to support the growth of our community engagement, fundraising events, and partnerships. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you’ll directly contribute to meaningful change in our local community.

Reporting to the Partnerships Specialist, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of our Community Fundraising and Peer-to-Peer Campaigns. You’ll also assist with our Corporate Partnerships Program, ensuring successful delivery of events and fundraising activities that support HCM’s programs and services.

About the role:

• Contribute to the coordination and execution of community fundraising initiatives and events
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, donors and volunteers
• Support Peer-to-Peer campaigns like Sleep Rough, including logistics and donor care
• Assist with corporate partnerships, research and stewardship
• Maintain donation platforms and track campaign performance
• Support internal administration, reporting and team collaboration
• Represent HCM at community events and speaking engagements as needed

About you:

• Experience in fundraising, events or administration, desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and excellent time management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM/database experience desirable
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team
• A professional, respectful and values-aligned approach
• Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends/evenings
• Full driver's licence
