About the role

Dakota Pastoral is seeking a dedicated and hardworking experienced Dairy Farm team leader to join our team in the charming rural area of Macorna, Victoria. As a full-time team leader, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day operations of our well-established dairy and livestock farm, contributing to the ongoing success and growth of our business.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with all aspects of dairy farming operations, including milking cows, feeding livestock, maintaining pastures and fences, and operating farm equipment

Ensuring the health and wellbeing of our dairy herd by monitoring their condition and providing appropriate care

Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and biosecurity across the farm

Collaborating with the farm management team to identify and implement process improvements

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience working on a dairy farm

A strong understanding of dairy and livestock farming practices and the ability to operate farm machinery and equipment

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity

A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
