English Teacher (Years 7–12)
Location: Granville, Western Sydney
Start: Immediate start preferred, but flexible for the right candidate

Muslim Girls Grammar School (MGGS) is seeking an inspiring and committed English teacher to join our vibrant learning community in Granville. With our recent expansion to Years 7–12, this is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead English education in a values-driven school that empowers young Muslim women.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an English teacher who is:

Enthusiastic about engaging students in Years 7–12

Committed to delivering high-quality, NESA-aligned learning programs

Able to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom

Ready to contribute to the development of a growing faculty

Open to leadership or coordination opportunities if experienced

Note: For candidates with strong leadership skills, there is potential to take on additional responsibilities in curriculum or administration.

What You’ll Bring:

Experience teaching secondary English (Years 7–12)

Strong knowledge of the NSW curriculum and NESA requirements

A talent for motivating and challenging students to do their best

Professionalism, flexibility, and a commitment to teamwork

An understanding of and respect for Islamic values (Muslim applicants strongly encouraged, but not required)

Requirements:

Current NESA Accreditation

Valid Working with Children Check

Updated CV

Professional references (required at interview stage)
