About the role

Central West Coffee & Catering is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Takeaway Shop Assistant to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold takeaway food items, including sandwiches, salads, and snacks
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring each customer has a positive experience
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, following food safety and hygiene standards
• Assisting with stock management and replenishment as needed
• Providing support to the kitchen team as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a takeaway or café environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
• A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
