Flex Fitness Equipment is a proudly Australian-owned company and one of the country’s leading suppliers of commercial and home fitness equipment. With over 15 years of experience and stores across Australia, we’re known for delivering quality products, great service, and building genuine relationships with our customers.
We’re now expanding our service team and are looking for a dedicated, experienced Service Manager to lead and support our growing group of 3–5 technicians and drivers.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all service operations — including job scheduling, customer communication, team performance, and technical issue resolution. You’ll work closely with internal teams and directly with customers to ensure the service experience is professional, timely, and aligned with our brand standards — without unnecessary cost or delays.
We’re looking for someone who’s smart, solutions-oriented, and knows how to manage people with a friendly, calm, and practical leadership style.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of service technicians and install drivers
Schedule and monitor daily service jobs across commercial and residential clients
Support the team with troubleshooting and technical issues as needed
Maintain a high standard of customer communication and satisfaction
Ensure service reports, documentation, and parts usage are accurate and up to date
Work collaboratively with other departments (sales, warehouse, showroom teams)
Report on team performance and help implement ongoing improvements
Ensure WHS and compliance procedures are being followed
Help with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members as we scale
You’ll Need
Prior experience in a service or technical operations leadership role
Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ability to lead a small team with a calm, supportive, and can-do approach
Solid technical understanding of fitness equipment (or similar mechanical/electrical products)
A proactive mindset — solving problems before they become issues
Strong computer and admin skills (job tracking systems, email, basic reporting)
A valid Australian driver’s licence
Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
