About the role

Compassionate Care WA is seeking Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in Bunbury. Reporting to our local Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to our disabled Participants in both SIL Accommodation and in the community, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met with the utmost care and consideration.

What you'll be doing

Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management, planning activities and meal preparation

Monitoring and documenting residents' health, behaviour and progress, and reporting any concerns to the CCWA management and nursing team

Organising and facilitating social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance residents' wellbeing

Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable living environment for all residents

Communicating effectively with residents, their families and the wider care team

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in disability services

Proven experience in a residential setting, ideally within the disability support industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach

Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask effectively

A genuine passion for improving the lives of people living with a disability, and a commitment to person-centered care

A current police clearance and the right to work in Australia
