About the role

Hawthorne Coffee' is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cafe Allrounder to join our team in our Hawthorne, Queensland location. In this casual role, you will be responsible for supporting the small food team and front-of-house operations to ensure our customers receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach and be able to adapt to the varying needs of a busy cafe environment.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with food preparation, including making sandwiches & Acai bowls

Providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving customers and operating the cash register

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas

Restocking and organising supplies as needed

Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth cafe operations

Bonus if you have previous barista experience to help with the morning rush

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar cafe or hospitality role, preferably in a fast-paced environment

Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

Good time management and the ability to multitask effectively

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A flexible and adaptable approach to work

Availability to work 30+ hours per week Including weekends
