About the role

Cube Automation and Electrical Group is expanding its commercial division and seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team full time.

This role will focus on commercial electrical work such as fit-outs, base builds, switchboard installations, and service upgrades for multi-residential developments across Southeast Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of main switchboards, distribution boards & sub-mains

Installation of civils including underground conduits and concrete PITS

Power and lighting layouts

Cable tray, conduit, and rough-in works

Fault finding and repairs on commercial systems

Site compliance and job reporting

Working with builders, supervisors, and project managers

Requirements

QLD Electrical Work License

Construction White Card

Experience in commercial electrical construction (min. 5 years as a qualified trades-person preferred)

Ability to interpret electrical plans and run jobs efficiently

High standards of safety and workmanship

Own hand tools and power tools. Specialised tools (Crimps, cable cuts, compliance testers) will be supplied

Driver’s License
