The Role

⏰ Full Time, Monday – Friday

📍 Collingwood, Melbourne, Australia

This is an identified role for First Nations people of Australia and is an on-site role with flexibility for 1-2 days remote after probation period. Given the need to attend regular client meetings and events it’s important that the applicant is located in, or close to, Melbourne.

Base salary is $80,000 + 12.5% super

Perfect for an individual with experience in the creative industries as a Talent Agent, Advertising Sales Manager, Producer, Advertising/PR Account Director, Studio Manager or Traffic Manager.

About Solid Lines

Solid Lines is a first of its kind talent agency for First Nations visual artists, animators and illustrators. Officially opened in June 2022, Solid Lines is a joint venture between The Jacky Winter Group and Emrhan Tjapanganka Sultan that has a legal pathway towards First Nations ownership in the next 5 years.

Our incredible roster of 14 talented First Nations artists create stunning artwork for businesses, advertising campaigns, outdoor and indoor murals, animations, packaging and more. At Solid Lines, we help educate clients on creating culturally safe environments for First Nations artists to thrive in, and are driven to changing the landscape of what it means to be a First Nations commercial artist in 2025 and beyond.

Responsibilities

Business development, spreading the word and promoting the amazing talent of the Solid Lines roster.

Growing year-on-year revenue.

Work with Co-Founders to identify, meet and establish meaningful relationships with First Nations industry advisors.

Building great relationships with talent, coaching them and transforming their goals into meaningful work opportunities.

Quoting, negotiating and end-to-end production of a wide variety of creative projects.

Are experienced in project management and production in creative businesses such as: design agencies, advertising agencies, creative fabrication suppliers, architecture firms, council and government creative departments or in media.
