70,000 – $90,000 per year

We are looking for a full-time qualified Motor- Automotive Mechanic at our Singhs Tyre And Auto Centre Pakenham location (Repco Authorised Service Station)with at least three years prior experience. You will be required to undertake the following duties.

Diagnosis of automotive vehicles (various makes and models).

Roadworthy Tester Licence is an advantage but not essential and will be rewarded.

Ability to figure out the fault, repair and provide the best possible solution

Mechanical repairs include periodic servicing, brake repair, clutches, and timing belt repair/replacement on different makes and models.

Inspect and run diagnostic tests to discover functional issues.

Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment.

Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles.

Customer service /front office experience is advantage but not essential.

Adhere to and follow work safety guidelines, report any hazards, and perform general housekeeping and workshop maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications

Australian Qualifications

Certificate III + 3 Years on the Job Training

Ability to work independently and unsupervised

AC Handling License is regarded but not essential

Great attention to detail

European experience is an asset & will be highly regarded but not essential.

We are looking for someone reliable, self-motivated, efficient, and has a good work ethic. Current driver's licenses and additional licenses would be an advantage.
