Workshop Assistant - No Experience Required

Couplers is a well established Hose & Fittings store located in Malaga. We have been based here for 30 years with a massive customer base locally as well as Australia wide.

We specialize in Industrial Fittings, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Automotive, Food & Beverage Industries and almost everything in-between! Our team is dedicated to delivering EXCELLENT customer service and we believe no job is too big or too small.

We have a large team from all walks of life and are hoping to add another enthusiastic team member to start their journey into the hose & fittings world!

This position is Full-Time Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.

Applicants should be physically fit, able to do manual work and must pass employment drug and alcohol testing.

Daily Tasks

- Assisting and completing customer workshop orders accurately and efficiently

- Manufacturing hydraulic hoses, welding, soldering, tube bending and general machining

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop

- Ensuring tools and equipment are used safety and stored properly

- Supporting the team with general workshop duties

- Providing excellent communication and customer service

Qualifications & Experience

- No experience required - just a great attitude and a willingness to learn

- Well presented and happy to get their hands dirty…. Literally!

- A knack for problem solving and strong attention to detail

- Basic computer skills are a plus, but not essential

- Valid drivers license and reliable transport

- A team player with a can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills

- Enthusiastic to learn about the hose and fittings industry
