MCA is not your average gym.

We are looking to add a rockstar to our management team at one of our flagship locations, providing great leadership, direction and financial management to guide a big cheer gym into its next chapter of success. This is your chance to join one of Australia’s premier cheerleading gyms in a hands-on office based leadership role that focuses on operations, planning and venue management.

The Role

This is not a Back Office Job.
You’ll be in the gym, in our community, and leading from the front.
You’ll know every member’s name. You’ll high-five sweaty athletes post-class.
You’ll lead your team with care, courage and accountability.
You’ll build an environment where members join and stay, staff can grow, and the energy is contagious.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, our Gym Managers play a key role at the heart of each of our gym operations. They are the leaders of each location – managing Office Staff, working with Program Coordinators, checking payroll, working to budgets, scheduling, and ensuring our whole club, including classes, teams, and events, run well.

Class Consistency → You’ll keep structure tight, standards high and vibes immaculate.

Customer Experience → You’ll address concerns with calm, clarity and care.

Who This Is Perfect For

You’re a rare breed. Someone who is:

Passionate about Sport — you’re competitive, you care, you want to be the best.

Gym Management Understanding or Experience — You have some exposure to gym/class based environments (cheer, fitness, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, swimming etc) to understand the dynamic

Obsessed with improvement — in others, in yourself, and in the gym.

A people-first leader — someone who knows how to connect and challenge their team.

Comfortable with feedback — you don’t take it personally, you take it seriously.

Hungry to lead something meaningful and leave your stamp.

As an office management role, you do NOT need to have specific All Star Cheerleading experience – we will teach you all the parts you need to know.

We ARE Looking for Someone Who…

– Is confident managing people, understanding budgets and can communicate clearly with staff and families
– Can hit the ground running with solid financial acumen
– Knows how to balance administrative organisation with staff leadership
– Can work to a budget and understand gym timetabling and class ratios
– Has experience leading a team with a focus on customer conversions at a ground level (getting enquiries to sign up!)
– Brings great vibes to our gym and leads with professionalism, positivity and accountability
– Is motivated, collaborative and calm under pressure — even during our competition season!

plus some Essential Requirements….

– Working With Children Check (WWCC)
– First Aid Certificate
– Available for some evening and weekend work
