About the Role:
Andrews Meat comprises of three key divisions: food service; value added - cooked; and export. Across these divisions, Andrews Meat supplies to all areas of the foodservice sector including restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs, hotels and resort groups. The company also services industries like health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.
We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Seasonal Process Workers to join our Cooked foods division for the upcoming busy period. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Shift time:
6.00am-2.00pm (Monday - Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general process work duties such as packing, sorting, and assembly
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow safety procedures and company policies
Work efficiently to meet production targets
Setting up, operating and controlling cooking equipments (Kettles, cookers)
Follow cooking process efficiently and produce a quality product
Conduct routine inspections on machinery to identify potential issues on the machine and report to the Supervisor
Attention to detail and follow hygiene standards
Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet production demand
Repetitive lifting and packing activities
Requirements:
Availability to work Monday to Friday, up to 38 hours per week
Ability to work on your feet and perform repetitive tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
