About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our talented team at empress hair' in Murrumba Downs, Queensland. As a full-time Senior Hairdresser, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality hair styling services to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Providing a range of advanced hairstyling services, including cutting, colouring, and treatment applications

Consulting with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences, and recommending appropriate services and products

Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the salon

Mentoring and training junior hairstylists to develop their skills and techniques

Actively participating in staff meetings and training to continuously improve salon operations

Adhering to all health, safety, and workplace policies and procedures

What we're looking for

A minimum of 4 years' experience as a qualified hairdresser, with a strong track record of providing exceptional client service

Advanced technical skills in cutting, colouring, and styling, with the ability to execute a range of hairstyles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and co-workers

A passion for the hair and beauty industry and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with other salon professionals

A valid hairdressing qualification and current Queensland driver's licence
