Experienced Asphalt Labourer Required

We are a small professional run business, working indirectly for the City of Melbourne. We reconstruct asphalt footpaths. Works include excavation, preparation works (including installing timber, downpipes, street furniture, laying crush rock), and relaying hot-mix asphalt. Asphalt laid by hand or with mini-Paver where the job suits.

We have been in business of over 10 years. Normal hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm on site. Some night shift and weekends throughout the year. Candidates will be required to meet on site in the Melbourne City Council area or meet at our yard in Bacchus Marsh.

We require an experienced asphalter (rake/screed hand).

Successful candidate must be willing to perform labourer tasks required as part of the excavation/preparation works. This includes works with sledgehammer, shovel, wheelbarrow, etc. High intensity works mostly performed with machinery - skid steers and excavators.

Candidate must have white card and able to complete medical, online inductions and comply with drug testing policy.
