As a Food & Beverage Supervisor at the Museum of Australian Democracy, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional dining experiences that enhance the museum's mission of celebrating democracy and civic engagement. Your role involves managing daily operations, coordinating events, and curating seasonal menus while interacting with a diverse range of visitors. This position offers an opportunity to foster community connections through innovative initiatives like sustainable sourcing, all while contributing to a unique narrative about democracy and social responsibility.
The Position
- Assist with organising front of house team in the daily operational demands
- Lead a large team to deliver high quality and exceptional customer service
- Support and supervise the delivery of service & functions
- Ensure all Company policies and procedures are applied
- Establish, maintain and monitor quality customer service practices
- Organise rosters as per operational requirements
The Person
- An experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor with a passion for exceptional service
- A hands-on leader who can jump in and show how it is done
- Barista with high-volume coffee experience
- Previous function and event experience, both intimate and large scale
- Impeccable grooming with a warm and engaging service style
