- Salary: $90,000 to $105,000 per annum (1 FTE) + Super (depending on experience)

Summary:
The Quality Officer provides support (including administrative support) to the CEO to ensure we achieve our quality standards leading to the best practice, evidence based continuous improvement in all the work we do for our community.
The role will support the CEO to ensure Moogji’s Quality and Safety framework is continually reviewed and improved to ensure it is fit for purpose.
The position plays a key role in assisting the CEO to ensure our re-certification status against the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management standards, the RACGP 5th Edition Standards and full compliance with ISO 31000: 2019 Risk Management Guidelines is achieved.
The role will assist all staff at Moogji to effectively engage with Moogji’s quality management system (LogiQC) and ensure improvements to the system are made as required.
Responsibilities:
This position will be an active member of the Quality Management Review Committee and the Clinical Governance committee. It will also contribute to and support the Moogji’s goals and functions, including (but not limited) by:
- Assisting the Organisation to maintain ISO 9001 Quality Management Standards recertification.
- Assisting the Organisation to maintain RACGP 5th Edition Standards
- Assisting the Organisation to maintain compliance with the Child Safety Standards
- Assisting with the creation of reports for Moogji internal meetings including Board papers
- Supporting the team to determine and administer the internal audit calendar and processes.
- Managing the organisational Quality Management System (LOGIQC).
- Supporting staff with effective task management, document control and other Quality processes.
- Inducting new starters to Quality processes and providing ongoing support to staff on processes.
- Providing secretariate support to the Quality Management Review Committee including preparing papers and confirming agendas with the CEO.
- Support the implementation of Moogji’s Strategic Plan via the annual Operational plan
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the level of the position, as directed by the CEO to meet Moogji objectives
Knowledge and Experience:
- Deep experience in utilising the LogiQC Quality Management System.
- Experience in administration and/or supporting organisational quality, or operations.
- An interest in creating and following processes and/or finding and solving problems.
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills and ways of working
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently, and as an effective team member
- Strong organisational and planning skills, including the ability to effectively manage time and workload
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience using Microsoft applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project Management) combined with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
- Previous experience in a Quality Role (preferably in an ACCO or Not-for-Profit) including proficiency in LogiQC
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously meeting the requirements of the workplan
- Demonstrated ability to manage highly competing priorities.
Desirable
- Previous experience working within the Aboriginal Community Controlled Sector
- Experience in RACGP 5th Edition Standards
- Experience in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards
- Experience in ISO 31000:2019 Risk Management Guidelines
- Experience in Child Safety Standards
