About the Role
As Store Manager, you'll lead from the front - managing the day-to-day operations while driving sales, lifting customer experience, and supporting the team to hit targets. This isn't a behind-the-desk role - you'll be hands-on, solution-oriented, and focused on building both business and team capability. Ideal for a Senior Salesperson in the flooring industry ready for the next step, or a current Manager looking for a fresh challenge.

Responsibilities of the Role

Lead and manage the store's sales performance and day-to-day operations

Motivate and mentor the sales team to deliver results

Manage client relationships, quoting, and end-to-end project follow-ups

Maintain store presentation, stock levels, and supplier liaison

Work closely with the franchise owner to implement strategy and achieve commercial goals

Skills & Experience We Are After

Proven experience in flooring retail - essential

Strong product knowledge and an ability to speak the language of trades and homeowners alike

Experience managing or mentoring a small team

Commercially minded - understands targets, margins, and customer retention

No-nonsense attitude - resilient, hands-on, and ready to step into leadership

Strong organisational skills and excellent follow-through
