The Role:

We are currently seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to join our team based in Lithgow with some regional travel required. This is hands on role that will suit someone with industry experience, or someone with a mechanical background or mechanical aptitude that has a willingness to learn.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Installation and Maintenance of Fire suppression systems
• Servicing and Repairing of Fire suppression Systems
• Maintaining awareness to adhere with individual site WH&S policies
• Ability to liaise with internal staff effectively regarding any work changes and schedule updates
• General housekeeping and document control

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Have a strong mechanical aptitude
• Understanding and knowledge of Mining Machines
• Be able to undergo a pre-employment medical
• Valid Australian drivers’ licence
• Fire Industry knowledge or basic understanding
• Sprinkler or pump experience (Beneficial, not essential)
