DUTIES:

Performing underground mining activities with a focus on installing and maintaining ventilation devices, strata support and roof bolt installation.

Carrying out personal risk assessment, hazard identification and other safety requirements relevant to the role.

Operation of plant and equipment used in an underground mining environment.

Operation of vehicles both underground and surface.

Adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.

Hazzard and safety awareness and reporting any potential hazards to relevant personnel.

Adherence to the mine site safety and health system.

Ensuring safety of self and fellow colleagues.

ABOUT YOU:

Demonstrated Underground Coal experience as an Operator is essential.

Experience with a focus on Ventilation work is highly desirable.

Training transcripts and/or qualifications & tickets.

A passion for safety.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong passion for safety.

Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Valid driver's licence
