The Role:

Due to the ongoing success of our family-owned business we currently have a vacancy for a Landscape Maintenance expert to join the team. This is an exciting, hands on role where you will hit the ground running and be responsible for the day-to-day tasks required in maintaining the beautiful gardens of our clients all over the Perth metro area.

This position is offered on a casual basis to begin but will develop into a full-time role for the right person.

Experience and/or training and certification in this area would be highly desirable however you will be mentored and trained by the company's founder where your skillset will be nurtured and developed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

You should be passionate about all things Horticulture and be motivated by your desire to care for and maintain our client's properties. You will be responsible for maintaining gardens to exceptional standards across a variety of locations whilst also enjoying the great outdoors.

Duties can include:

Grounds Maintenance

Mowing

Planting trees and shrubs

Pruning

Feeding

Chemical Spraying for weed management

The use of equipment such as hand tools, chainsaws and push mowers

Fertilising.

What we need from you:

Prior landscaping maintenance experience is highly desirable

Minimum 1-2 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience is highly desirable

Full, unrestricted manual drivers license

Full, unrestricted manual driver's licence (Class C minimum, MR licence advantageous)

Clean police record is essential

A strong work ethic with the ability to work unsupervised as required

Excellent customer skills

Enjoy working in a dynamic environment

A love for working outdoors

A keen eye for detail

Physically able to perform manual labour with some strenuous tasks and heavy lifting required

Must be able to lift and carry up to 25kg regularly and work in various weather conditions

Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent qualification (desirable)

First Aid Certificate
