About the Role:

Victorian Sports Group is seeking motivated and dependable Sports Field Construction Labourers to join our team. We specialise in the construction and renovation of high-quality Sports fields, including Soccer pitches, AFL fields , Baseball fields, Running tracks, Tennis & Netball courts.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the construction, grading, and installation of natural turf and synthetic sports fields

Operate or assist with machinery such as skid steers, rollers, compactors, and trenchers

Install drainage systems, irrigation components, and base materials

Lay sod, spread topsoil, and perform site cleanup

Follow construction plans and supervisor instructions accurately

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Travel to various project sites as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or sports field work preferred

Physically fit and capable of lifting 20+kgs and working outdoors in various conditions

Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites

Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends if needed

Commitment to safety practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Assets (Not Required):

Experience with turf installation or irrigation systems

Operating tickets for skid steer, mini-excavator, or similar equipment

First Aid, WHMIS, or other safety certifications
