Role overview:

We are supporting a defence client with delivering and maintaining mission-critical IT systems. This is an opportunity to support the modernisation of complex command and control system. You will play a key role in building cyber-resilient, integrated IT infrastructure that supports both deployed operations and day-to-day functions. These systems are vital to enabling secure communications, real-time situational awareness, and interoperability across defence partners.

Key responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain VMware and Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure

Manage and patch Microsoft enterprise environments

Integrate ICT applications and remediate build defects

Develop and peer-review design, build, and SOP documentation

Identify and resolve system issues and operational defects

To be successful, you will have extensive experience in:

Extensive experience in building and supporting Microsoft, VMware, and Nutanix infrastructure

Strong automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash

Proven expertise in troubleshooting and defect remediation

Prior experience working within Defence environments
