We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join a transformation program focused on improving customer information systems for public transport users across Greater Sydney. This 6-month contract offers the opportunity to shape the architecture and integration strategy of a highly visible initiative aimed at enhancing real-time passenger communication.

In this role, you will work closely with technical leads, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to design scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions that support digital platforms, data flows, and integrated customer channels. You'll provide architectural leadership across the full delivery lifecycle, from initial analysis and conceptual design through to post-implementation review.

Your work will influence how information is delivered across digital screens, apps, and audio systems-making a real impact on the commuter experience.

What we're looking for:

Minimum 8 years' experience in solution architecture within enterprise-level environments

Strong background in systems integration, data-driven platforms, and customer-facing technology

Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and formal development lifecycles (SDLC)

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to manage competing priorities in complex, busy settings

Experience working in transport, government, or public-facing service environments is highly regarded

You must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident to be considered for this role
