We're looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to lead financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. This is a high-impact leadership role suited to someone who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative, hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

• You will directly manage four direct reports, including senior finance professionals and support staff, as well as oversee an offshore team.
• Lead monthly and annual financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax requirements (BAS, GST, etc.)
• Provide financial insights to senior leadership to support planning and performance improvement
• Manage external relationships, including auditors and financial institutions
• Lead and develop a finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement

About You

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong financial management experience, ideally in a medium to large organisation
• Background in audit from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm at manager level, or a strong second mover with commercial experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage and develop a team effectively
• Sound understanding of Australian financial regulations and reporting standards
• Confident in working with senior stakeholders and providing clear, actionable financial advice
