We are currently seeking applicants for the role of qualified Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, preferably with child consultant knowledge and experience within our Family and Relationship Centre (FRC) team. This is a fixed-term position, with a minimum four (4) days per week or fulltime, commencing as soon as practical and ending 30 June 2026; with renumeration consistent with level 5 of the SCHADS award.

Primary Duties of the Position include:

Deliver high quality family dispute resolution services (parenting and property) to support clients in accordance with Family Law Act 1975 (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners) and CatholicCare’s practice and procedures;

Refer clients internally within CatholicCare to other FSP programs and the provision of external client referrals to government and non-government organisations

Ensure the accurate recording of information in the client management database and all other reporting databases and tools, as detailed in any applicable funding agreements, is consistently maintained;

Develop and facilitate workshops, seminars and information sessions, if required, and contribute as a team member to these activities;

Requirements of the Position:

Hold a tertiary qualification in Social Science or Law;

Be a fully qualified Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner;

Hold a valid current driver’s licence;

Have a current (or eligibility for) Qld Working with Children Check – ‘Blue Card’;

Have or be eligible to obtain a National Police Certificate;

If applicable, have evidence of Australian Work Rights to confirm citizenship or a visa holder
