We're Hiring: Production & Design Coordinator – Women’s Fashion

Based in Adelaide | 3 or 4 days per week depending on person | $60,000–$80,000 FTE + Super

Do you love fashion and spreadsheets? Enjoy seeing a garment go from sketch to final product - and making sure every step runs smoothly? We’re looking for a Production & Design Coordinator to join our creative team at Frock Me Out.

This role is ideal for someone with solid technical and production skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to keep timelines, specs, and supplier comms running like clockwork. You’ll be working closely with our Creative Director to support our design and production pipeline - from creating and editing tech packs and fit notes, to liaising with suppliers and tracking deliveries.

What You’ll Be Doing

Production & Logistics

Support the end-to-end production process — from initial samples to final delivery

Manage and maintain tech packs with exceptional attention to detail

Create and update accurate technical diagrams and Illustrator flats

Communicate clearly with local and offshore manufacturers to track sampling, production and delivery timelines

Coordinate incoming deliveries with suppliers and freight partners

Assist in monitoring inventory and managing reorders for core styles

Assist in monitoring quality control at all stages of production, from sampling to final delivery

Support cost tracking and assist to maintain production budgets

Design & Development Support

Prepare style packs and documentation to support new product development

Assist with sample and fit sessions, documenting changes and updating suppliers

Research fabrics, trims and suppliers that align with our sustainable and ethical values

Ensure all technical information is organised, accurate and ready for production handover

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 1 year experience in a fashion production, design assistant, or technical coordinator role

Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Excel — especially for creating and managing tech packs

A clear, professional communicator — especially in written comms with offshore suppliers

Highly organised, detail-obsessed and comfortable juggling multiple timelines

A solid understanding of garment construction

A calm and proactive problem-solver who takes pride in doing things thoroughly

The salary for this role is $60,000 – $80,000 + superannuation, depending on skills and experience. Role is part-time with potential to grow into full time and salary will be adjusted accordingly on a pro-rata basis.
