About the role

RCOT is seeking a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in Willagee, WA. This is a full-time role and will involve working with school aged children and their families to help them reach their full potential through occupational therapy interventions.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the occupational performance strengths and needs of paediatric clients.

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address the specific goals of each child and their family.

Providing direct occupational therapy services such as sensory integration, fine motor, gross motor, emotional regulation and self-care skill development in the clinic, at home or school.

Collaborating with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed client records.

Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

RCOT is not registered with NDIA, however, we do provide services to NDIS participants who's funds are self-managed or plan-managed.

What we're looking for

Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience preferred but open to graduates looking to get into paediatrics, with potential to start immediately as an OT Assistant and transition once you gain AHPRA registration.

Strong clinical skills in paediatric occupational therapy assessment and intervention.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, prioritise, and manage a caseload effectively.

Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
