Maritime Constructions is a marine contractor, uniquely capable of self-performing the full spectrum of specialised engineering disciplines to deliver complex near-shore marine infrastructure projects from design and construction through to commissioning. Projects include jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, dredging, reclamation, navigation aids, marinas, underwater pipelines.
About the Role
As a Parts Interpreter, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Assets Division and broader operations by maintaining accurate stock levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement and delivery of parts and materials. This role is vital to the delivery of our maintenance schedule and smooth operation of our assets across multiple sites.
You’ll be the primary point of contact for parts-related support, working closely with our asset, workshop, and project teams to ensure equipment is kept operational and ready for deployment.
Pay rates
Base rates range from $30 to $40 per hour (full-time), commensurate with experience, plus possible overtime.
About you
Strong background in parts interpretation, procurement, or mechanical support
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Proficient in computer systems with strong administrative and organisational skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Confident working with ERP or inventory management systems
Proactive, organised, and capable of juggling multiple priorities
Familiarity with mechanical equipment, plant, or construction machinery
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values collaboration
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in a Parts Interpreter or similar procurement/logistics role
Current Australian Driver’s License
Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card)
Experience working with ERP systems (desirable)
Solid knowledge of, or strong interest in marine and heavy machinery
Mechanical trade background or technical knowledge (desirable)
