Our client is seeking two motivated Junior Accountants to join a fast-paced, growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across full-function accounting and contribute to system and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting monthly balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Assisting the accountants with monthly profit and loss review with the business.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger, post journal entries, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Accurate data entry and record keeping of financial data into accounting software and maintain well-organised records in line with organisational policies and legal requirements.
• Assist in resolving issues in various processes such as, but not limited, to quote to collect, procure to pay manufacturing and project accounting
• Assisting in preparation of BAS, FBT and payroll tax.
• Review and process expense claims, credit card reconciliations, and ensure expenses are coded appropriately.
• Support various system improvements planning and implementations
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports
• Timely and accurate completion of assigned month end processes
• Reconciliations completed monthly with minimal outstanding items.
• Timely and accurate submission of assigned compliance and regulations requirements
• Positive feedback from stakeholders on financial interactions.

Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working towards CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Collaborative and proactive approach to systems and process improvement
• Must be a citizen or have PR
