We’re currently seeking an experienced Heavy Haulage Float Driver with a strong background in float work to join our Caloundra-based team. This role offers immediate start and long-term, secure employment for the right person.

Tenkate Group is a family-owned and operated business based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, with a second depot in Mackay. We specialise the hire of heavy earthmoving machinery for civil construction projects across Queensland.

About the Role

Full-time, permanent position

Based from Caloundra with regular long-distance travel

Transporting civil construction machinery up to 50 tonnes.

Includes overnight stays as required

Work independently and as part of a supportive team

Key Requirements

Valid MC (Multi-Combination) licence

Minimum 5 years' float/low loader driving experience

Proven experience loading, securing, transporting and unloading heavy plant

Comfortable with over-dimensional loads and relevant road regulations

Own transport to and from Caloundra depot

Strong understanding of load restraint practices and WH&S obligations

Physically capable of climbing machinery, handling tie-down gear, and changing tyres

Desirable (but not essential)

White Card (Construction Induction)

Forklift licence

Familiarity with machinery used in civil construction
