About the role

At On time waste management, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Hook Truck Driver with an HR licence to join our team in Ingleburn. As a Hook Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely collection of waste materials across our service area.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and manoeuvre a hook lift truck to load, transport, and unload various types of waste containers and materials

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and equipment are in good working condition

Adhere to all relevant road and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

Maintain accurate records of work activities, including logbooks and delivery documentation

Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests and addressing any issues that may arise

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the waste management service

What we're looking for

Hold a current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence

Minimum 2 years' experience operating a hook lift truck or similar heavy vehicle

Demonstrated knowledge of road rules and safety regulations

Excellent driving skills and the ability to manoeuvre large vehicles in tight spaces

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Good communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
