About the role

This is a full-time IMMEDIATE START Carpenter role based in Rochedale, QLD. As a Carpenter at Game 7 Projects Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for running a small crew doing pre fab frames and trusses, cladding, fix out and a variety of carpentry based jobs.

Must be a qualified carpenter and have own tools and Ute I am looking for someone reliable and long term to step into a foreman role with the opportunity to get your builders license.

What you'll be doing

Read and interpret plans and mark out slabs

Erect frames, joist , flooring and trusses

Install various types of cladding and fire wall systems

Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard

Install doors, architraves,skirting and windows

Finish jobs from start to finish with a small crew including all tie downs and frame straightening

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship as a Carpenter

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry

Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools

Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Commitment to safety and quality standards
