Paediatric Exercise Physiologist – Neuroaffirming Role in Logan (with optional work at Spring Hill & Banyo)

Neurodiverse Playhouse is seeking a caring, skilled and creative Paediatric Exercise Physiologist to join our allied health team in Logan – with the opportunity to increase hours across Spring Hill and Banyo locations if desired.

Neurodiverse Playhouse is a neuroaffirming, child- and family-centred allied health service. We provide safe, inclusive environments where neurodivergent children are celebrated and supported to thrive.
Our approach is grounded in trauma-informed practice, play-based learning, and body-brain connection strategies such as primitive reflex integration, sensory regulation, and movement-based therapies.
About the Role
You will deliver individualised, strengths-based interventions to neurodivergent children using functional movement, reflex integration, and physical literacy to support regulation, coordination, and overall well-being.
You will work collaboratively with families and other allied health professionals in a highly supportive and values-driven team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualised, play-based and body-focused therapy sessions for children
Use primitive reflex integration, sensory-motor strategies, and movement interventions. Training provided.
Assess, plan, and implement evidence-informed programs tailored to each child’s goals
Collaborate closely with families and the multidisciplinary team
Document progress and maintain clinical notes in line with NDIS requirements
Engage in professional development and neuroaffirming practice

Base Playhouse: Logan
Optional additional days available in Spring Hill and Banyo (can increase hours)
About You
Qualified Accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA registered)
Experience or interest in paediatrics and working with neurodivergent children
Understanding of or training in primitive reflex integration (or willingness to learn)
Knowledge of neurodiversity, sensory regulation, and trauma-informed care
Passionate about strengths-based, neuroaffirming practice
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach
Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, and relevant insurances
Availability to work Saturdays highly regarded
