About the Role:

The successful applicant will:

Fully Qualified Electrical Fitter / Mechanic Tradesman

Be honest, reliable and trustworthy

Have a proven strong work ethic, great attention to detail and effective time management

Have a proven high level of analytical, fault finding and problem solving skills

Be able to provide supervision and support of an Apprentice

Be able to work safely and well autonomously and within a team

Be able to implement safe working practices

Take pride in the quality of your work

Communicate clearly and maintain strong working relationships with customers

Be able to work and communicate well with others

A positive and supportive attitude in the workplace

Tasks & responsibilities will include

Organise, implement and perform installation, maintenance and repair work across the entire range of electrical services offered

Provide high quality customer communication and service

Maintaining the highest level of quality workmanship

Attending after hours call outs on a rotational roster

Fault finding

Training And Supervision Of Apprentices

Ability To Work After Hours And Overtime When Required

Up keep of relevant paperwork / administration in device applications

To coordinate and execute day to day operations utilising relevant software

Maintain and continue to develop a strong safety compliance culture and monitor safety documentation

Other duties as directed

What the Position Offers:

The role is a full time, permanent opportunity with the ability to undertake paid overtime where required.

An above award salary package that will be negotiated depending upon the qualifications, tickets and experience the Applicant is able to offer

Required:

Current Manual Drivers Licence

Current QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence

Current CPR & LVR Certificate( can be arranged if you are not current)

Current Construction Industry Blue/White Card

General hand tools required for the position

Knowledge of current electrical standards

A desire for a long term career opportunity

A willingness to grow with the business

Desired (an advantage but not essential):

Refrigeration/Air Conditioning experience or Restricted Refrigerant Handling Licence

Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Licence

Hazardous Area

CEC Accreditation or Solar installation experience

Working at Heights

Work Eligibility:

Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)

Must be a minimum age of 15 years old at commencement
