About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join the team at Clear Accounting Solutions in Ashmore, Queensland. This full-time position plays a vital role in providing strategic, high-quality accounting services to a diverse range of clients across various industries.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents for clients

Providing expert advice and support on a range of accounting and taxation matters

Assisting with the implementation of accounting systems and processes

Liaising with clients to understand their unique financial needs and requirements

Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations

Contributing to the overall growth and success of the business

What we're looking for

5+ years' post-qualification experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within a professional services or corporate advisory environment

Excellent technical accounting and taxation knowledge, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations

Experience and understanding of Division 7a loans & UPE's, CGT concessions, FBT & SMSF

Proven experience in providing high-quality, commercially-focused accounting services to clients

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail

Proficient in the use of accounting software and technologies

Proficient in MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field, and a CPA or CA certification

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or related field, with CPA/CA certification (or actively pursuing qualification)

Long term appointment & commitment to the position

Must have permanent right to work in Australia
