This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a non-client-facing environment and enjoys leveraging their experience to complete complex work at volume in a systemised, results-driven manner.

What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on role focused on workflow management, work completion, quality assurance, and technical problem solving.

You’ll work closely with senior team members and leadership to support internal delivery and provide them with the information they need to liaise with their clients. While there are no direct reports, you’ll be supported by a capable team and given the autonomy to focus, take ownership, and complete high-level work without interruption.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and lodging company, trust, partnership, and individual tax returns

General tax compliance (including resolving complex matters)

Working in Xero Tax, KarbonHQ, and Xero Practice Manager

Managing your own workflow with autonomy and accountability

Quality control of internal team members and ensuring technical accuracy in deliverables

About You

10+ years in public practice with a strong tax background

CA or CPA qualified

Confident preparing complex returns across all entity types

Experienced planning and managing workflow deadlines

Organised, deadline-driven, and self-directed

Tech-savvy-comfortable with cloud accounting tools and systems
