Our company, Battery Rescue, runs a used battery recycling service, using our unique Battery Transport & Storage (BTS) Containers and Used Lithium Battery (ULIB) Boxes. Our point of difference to our customers is that we offer a safe, environmentally sustainable and regulation compliant way for them to store and transport their used batteries, destined for recycling.

We are located in Bibra Lake and service the Metro Perth region and several of WA’s leading mining companies.

You will be primarily responsible for maintaining our fleet of BTS Containers and ULIB Boxes to our customers. Responsibilities will include;

Conduct deliveries and collections of battery containers from customer Perth metro sites.

Load and unload BTS and ULIB containers using forklifts and manual handling.

Accurately record weights and inspect incoming deliveries of BTS Container / UliB Boxes.

Identify, remove and report non-compliant or incorrect items included in deliveries.

Where required unloading or loading batteries from BTS containers either manually or using Battery lifter.

Clean BTS Containers / UliB Boxes, including removal of transport stickers and washing with high pressure water sprayer.

Prepare BTS containers / UliB Boxes for dispatch to customers, including labelling.

Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on containers.

Assist with assembling and setting up new equipment or containers.

Maintain equipment and keep the yard clean, safe, and in good working order.

The successful applicant should have:

High-level English

Medium Rigid Truck Licence (MR)

Forklift Licence (Can be provided for the right candidate)

Intermediate computer skills using email, spreadsheets and documents.

We are seeking a hardworking, well organised individual who demonstrates a willingness to learn and attention to detail. The successful applicant should possess practical hand-skills and be willing to perform a range of roles from deliveries to yard operator tasks.

The position is a full-time role with work hours being 8:00am - 4:00pm.

The position comes with an annual salary between $65K - $75K. An annual 12 month bonus will be paid based on performance.
