Our client is a successful, fast growing NDIS organisation seeking a motivated, experienced Service Delivery Manager . The Service Delivery Manager will play a pivotal leadership role, with primary responsibility of leading the highest standards of person-centred care and innovative service delivery across our various regional Queensland locations. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence, demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and align with our core organisational values.

As a key manager, you will be responsible for overseeing support worker teams driving positive outcomes for Participants, and ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, as well having responsibility for business growth.

The role requires a strong understanding of NDIS service delivery models, home and living support services (including SIL), restrictive practices, NDIS plan utilisation and the NDIS Practice Standards. Of great importance is an appreciation of the unique challenges and opportunities of delivering services in a rural and remote communities. While you would be based in Townsville, the role will required frequent travel to these small communities .

The key responsibilities of the role are focused on;

Service Delivery Oversight:

Ensure all NDIS services are delivered in accordance with person-centred practice, focusing on maintaining high-quality service standards that meet the unique needs and goals of Participants and align with the organisation’s framework.

Team Leadership:

Proactively lead and manage teams of support workers, ensuring they are trained, supported, and motivated to deliver exceptional care in partnership with other key internal leaders and stakeholders.

Client and Stakeholder Relationships:

Ensure a focus on new Participant engagement on an ongoing basis

Act as the central point of contact for Participants and their families, building strong, trusted relationships, through regular communication.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all activities comply with NDIS standards, policies, and regulations, including active risk management and incident reporting

Reporting and Accountability:

Provide regular reports on service delivery outcomes, including participant satisfaction, team performance, and financial metrics.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Leadership and Management Experience:

Proven experience managing human services teams, including within the NDIS. An adaptable solutions mindset, with proven problem solving skills.

Over five years’ service leadership experience and relevant formal qualifications.

Understanding of NDIS and Person-Centred Practice:

Commitment to person-centred care and strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and PAPL.

Cultural Competence:

Experience working in rural or remote areas, understanding the specific needs of isolated communities, and the challenges faced in ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery despite geographic challenges.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with participants, their families, staff and stakeholders

Professional Development:

Willingness to continually develop knowledge of best practices and apply Inew skills to enhance service delivery, and share within the team.

Technology and Reporting:

High proficiency in using platforms for client management, reporting, stakeholder engagement and business planning.
