This fast-moving tech company delivers connected solutions on-site — across construction, infrastructure, and logistics. With physical installs, tight turnarounds, and growing demand, they’re after a hands-on manager who can lead a team, bring structure, and still dive into the detail when it counts.

The Role

You’ll lead a team of six, split across:

• Service Operations – getting devices live, managing on/off-hires, relocations, and keeping first-contact resolution high.
  
  
• Technical Operations – handling escalations, root-cause investigations, automations, and major incidents.

They need someone to help the team lift its game — define the way things get done, bring in reporting, and make performance visible and measurable.

What They’re Looking For

• Background in support, field ops, or NOC
  
  
• Confident across Linux, scripting, monitoring, and connectivity
  
  
• Comfortable with terminals on Linux, Mac, and Windows
  
  
• Good with people — field ops, customers, internal teams
  
  
• Can document clearly and coach without ego
  
  
• Bonus if you’ve done hardware; fine if you haven’t — as long as you’re curious and practical
  
  

The Environment

• 5 days/week on-site in a secure facility
  
  
• Operationally heavy — devices go out into the field
  
  
• Team sits under Engineering, but they’ve asked for a leader to help them get better at what they do
