We’re looking for a leader who gets operations and gets people. Someone who understands that the frontline is the heartbeat of community service. Someone who knows how to run a reliable, responsive waste collection operation and how to make it better.

At the City of Armadale, we’re upgrading our approach to resource collection. Smarter rostering, better training, clearer performance, and stronger support for our people. You’ll be at the centre of that change.

What the role looks like

• Lead our kerbside, verge and bin maintenance services across the City
• Guide Supervisors and Operators with clarity, consistency and care
• Bring a service improvement mindset to rostering, safety, and daily delivery
• Partner with contractors, teams, and Council to deliver smooth, safe operations
• Shape a more efficient, future-focused model for waste services

You’re someone who...

• Has led waste or fleet-based services and knows what good looks like
• Cares deeply about your team’s wellbeing, development, and performance
• Thrives on keeping things moving calmly, clearly, and with a plan
• Is great with compliance, safety, and systems and leads by example
• Is ready to shift from day-to-day firefighting to long-term improvement
