St Laurence's College is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition with an enrolment of over 2,000 boys from Years 5-12.
Applications are invited for a permanent, term-time (not working school holidays), full-time Monday-Friday, College Nurse for our Health Centre, commencing as soon as possible or in negotiation with the successful candidate as to notice requirements. The work hours for this role are 7.30-3.30pm. This position would be a great opportunity for a Registered or Enrolled Nurse who is looking for work during school hours.
The purpose of the College Nurse's role is being the Triage person who fulfils an important service by being the first point of contact for sick and/or injured students who present at the Health Centre. This position also provides some administrative assistance and support in ensuring the student medical database and procedures are kept up to date.

However, the successful candidate would have:
At least 2-3 years’ nursing experience;
A formal nursing qualification;
Registration with AHPRA;
A current Paid Blue Card or be eligible to apply for one; and
Demonstrated strong computer skills in all Microsoft applications and database experience in updating and retrieving data for reports (with excellent accuracy).
