Advance Disability Services & Respite (ADSR) is a registered NDIS provider committed to delivering high-quality support services to people aged 17–65 living with a disability across Western Sydney. We are currently seeking Casual Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

Essential Criteria:
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds — experience is not essential, but a strong willingness to learn and contribute meaningfully to the lives of others is highly valued.
Applicants should ideally demonstrate:
- A caring and empathetic nature
- Physical capacity to carry out support tasks including personal care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ADSR’s values of integrity, potential, individuality, and relationships
- Comfort using technology (smartphones, tablets, computers)
- Current Driver’s Licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle (with comprehensive insurance)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- COVID-19 vaccination, including at least one booster
- Ability to respond calmly and supportively in challenging situations
- Key Responsibilities:
- You will support people with disability to live independently and engage meaningfully in their daily lives and community. Duties may include:
- Personal care (e.g. showering, dressing, toileting, assistance with mobility)
- Household support (e.g. cleaning, shopping, meal preparation
- Social and community participation (e.g. outings, programs, appointments)
- Emotional support and companionship
- Following positive behaviour support plans
- Record keeping, documentation, and incident reporting
- Medication administration (if required)
- Desirable Criteria:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or similar (preferred but not essential)
- Prior experience in the disability, aged care or community services sectors
- Understanding of the NDIS and person-centred practices
